What made you want to join Iff Digital Media?
I’ve worked with both Mike & Nadia before, and Nadia was even my first line manager when I entered the world of performance marketing. When I realised they were growing the team, I was keen to find out more. As soon as I talked to them and heard how they felt about Iff and remembered how good it was working with them previously, I knew right away I wanted to be part of the journey at Iris and help them grow the company, team and our clients.
What is your background in terms of performance marketing?
I’ve got nine years of experience in performance marketing, starting out with two years delivering PPC for Argos, which was a great client to start my journey on as they were keen to grow, learn and be at the forefront of digital marketing. I soon expanded my knowledge into PLAs (Shopping) and Paid Social, on both national and international clients such as Durex, Scholl, K-Y, Carpetright, Ernest Jones, H Samuel, Hornby, Scalextric, to name but a few. So, I’ve worked with resellers and direct to consumer brands, in particular supporting Durex as they launched their direct-to-consumer proposition. I have also worked closely with other channels such as Affiliates and SEO to ensure that as a team, we deliver the best cross channel strategy for our clients. I’ve been involved in new channel launches, site migrations etc. So have a vast range of experience supporting clients to ensure we deliver the best results. I think what’s helped me over the years is that I always treat the clients budget as if it’s my own, which I think is key to ensure that you are driving for the best performance for our clients and striving to hit their KPIs.
How would you describe the culture at Iff?
Friendly, approachable, honest, and driven – I felt welcomed and part of the team before I even started.
Who would be your perfect client, and why?
This is a tough one as there are so many brands out there that I admire, and I’ve also had the privilege to work on some big names already, but I think I’d have to say a designer fashion brand or a fabric/sewing pattern company (see my hobbies as to why).
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I like to think I’m a crafty person, from making cards and box frames etc., but my biggest passion is dressmaking. I am lucky to have converted a spare room into my own craft/sewing room. Which has meant I’ve been able to work even more time on my dressmaking over the last year during lockdown. My dressmaking mannequin often features in my video calls, so watch out for her.
